And as often as possible they are hosts where you can get a subdomain, ie: YourName (dot) Their Name (dot) com, instead of Their name (dot) com, slash (/) something else, slash (/) somewhere else, slash (/) this and that, slash (/) what were we talking about again?.... This way you can tell your friends your URL with a remote hope that they can actually remember it! Subdomains are just so much better.
You can read the reviews to find out more about the services each of these webspace providers has to offer. The levels of places to get free web hosting are listed to the left (Best, Decent, Worst).
